Teresa
Teresa was raised on a farm in Southern Illinois where she learned to appreciate things that were done by hand. Her mother would often make her dresses, and her grandmother would hand stitch her doll gowns. From a little girl, Teresa was around sewing and wanted to learn this art. After marrying Robin she was blessed with two sons, Cody and Kirby. As you can imagine there was lots of talk about sports, trucks, and Ninja Turtles in their home, yet Teresa still found time to sew and create. Teresa made her boys lots of costumes for Halloween and play time when they were young, and even participated in a few craft shows herself. As the boys got older and schedules got busier, she wasn't able to do as many crafts or craft shows. Talk of sports, trucks, and Ninja Turtles turned into, well... more sports...girls, and jobs. When the boys moved out, Teresa seemed to find a bit more time to create the things she loved. Her two boys met two girls and were both married within a year of each other. Teresa, Rachel and Amanda quickly realized they all shared a love for creating and crafting and Sweet P's was born!
Rachel
Rachel was born and raised in Western Kentucky. Growing up, Rachel remembers her mother always creating beautiful and inviting rooms throughout their home. Rachel's family renovated their home at the time, and Rachel fell in love with the process. Rachel's family later moved to Southern Illinois where they lived on a large farm. Rachel's love for decorating and creating only grew when she was introduced to all that wide open space. After high school, she decided to attend Murray State University where she became a Speech Language Pathologist. After graduation, Rachel met her husband Cody and they decided to settle back home, in southern Illinois to be close to family. Rachel was thrilled to find out that both Amanda and Teresa love to create and craft.
Amanda
Amanda was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She too, was raised in a home where decor was important. Amanda's mother and father both taught her long standing traditions, mostly centered around Christmas. Her father had 36 Disney Christmas Characters for their yard and her mother made the home look festive for Christmas open houses. Over the years she took up many different hobbies and learned what crafts she loved to make. While going to school, she worked as a Human Resource Manager. She then met Kirby and they were married a year after Cody and Rachel. Amanda knew while planning her wedding that she had to start crafting again.
