Ok… so I know all y’all have your DVR set to record Fixer Upper tonight or are already watching the reruns waiting on the newest episode. I think this is a given for most of America right now! We are obsessed with Chip and Joe. (This in no way excludes me! I heart them!!!) But, if you missed the preview episode that ran between some Fixer Upper called, Home Town you all missed out.  Seriously!!!!  I was scrolling through Instagram, as I often do, and ran across the wonderful and supportive Instagram community posting about this new teaser episode.  The show takes place in Laurel, Mississippi (the way Erin says Laurel melts my heart. It makes me wish I wouldn’t have spent sooo much time when I was younger trying not to sound like a southern belle.) Anyways, back to what the show is about… Erin and her husband Ben are from this small town that has lots of history and they just want to see it have some life again. I think all of us from small towns would say that it would be amazing to see what they were like in their hay day. Erin and Ben are trying with others to make sure that they do see it like this though! On top of them being really cute, Ben has a great since of humor, and together they are meant to be (obviously… they are married.)  The house had a swoon worthy porch and upstairs guest area. Not to mention they have me wanting to bust through all my log walls looking for an adorable pantry I know doesn’t exist.  Right now Erin has posted in her Instagram comments that they are waiting to hear when the next episode is, but HGTV would be crazy not to give us more!!!  I hope you all can find maybe a rerun of it. Right now I don’t think you can watch in online at HGTV, but I am going to include the link to the shows page and their Instagram account.
