I feel like it has been forever since I shared a space in our home.... Ok maybe just weeks ?
As the anniversary of owning our house for a year approaches I am finally starting to feel like it is our home! Don't get me wrong there are still mountains of tools, paint, and misc. laying around reminding us of those projects left undone, but as I sit here with Kirby and Pat I'm reminded that those things can wait.
Its simple living around the Pauls' Cabin tonight and its real life.
I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead of you and don't forget to stay sweet, Amanda Lauren.

This past week I was able to hop into a new store. I had just recently started following @livesimpleshop on Instagram and loved their cute T's.Soon after I started following them I was seeing little snippets of their adorable store about to open in Carteville, Illinois. Kirby and I are huge on trying to Shop Small or Shop Local whenever we can. I'm excited that we can now add this little shop to our list! After reading a few of their blogs and meeting the owner, Macey, it is clear that she is very kind and has a servants heart. This is reflected not only in their merch. but this adorable and powerful prayer wall. What an awesome way to witness to those coming in and bringing Jesus back into businesses. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 If you are local please stop in and say hi. You will not be sorry... the store is awesomely adorable which matches their shirts. As always, thanks for stopping by and Shop Small!
Stay Sweet, Facebook now reminds you just how fast time flies with it's memory reminders. Opening Facebook a few days back reminded me that my wedding shower was already 2 years ago!

DIY Glitter Candles and Mason Jars
Take your jar or candle holder and tape an edge where you want your glitter to be. Use a cheap paint brush and paint a good amount of Modge Podge in this area. Then bring on the glitter. Sprinkle glitter over this area. Add lace around the tops of mason jars for a little extra and your choice of flowers.
