Today is not only a great day to share some of our big DIY's that happened over the year, but it is also our 2 year anniversary!

It is true what they say about weddings... it really is a whirlwind and you will forget that you even took those pictures. Our day was almost a years worth of planning, it all happened so quick, but we are still talking about how much fun we had. Renovating our home has been kinda the same way minus the cake, boos, and electric slide... Remind me where I was going with this :P Oh yes Renovating a home is a lot of work and planning but it truly is a great feeling to look back on what was and what you have made it.
Our Dinning Room Renovation
Ok so maybe we still aren't finished with all the renovations we would like to do... I could spend several blogs on what is still on our to-do list/wish list, but I wanted to take a few days to look back at how far we have come!
This week I will be sharing some old post with new updates. I'll give you more details on how we made our projects happen, reviews on if we still are in love with our work, and maybe some more behind the scenes pictures and stories. Hope you all will tune in to celebrate owning our home for 1 Year. Here are two post to get you started. It is so fun to look back and see what we walked in to. The look on my families face the first time they saw the home was priceless. But Kirby is pretty handy and I know what I like so it has worked. Facebook now reminds you just how fast time flies with it's memory reminders. Opening Facebook a few days back reminded me that my wedding shower was already 2 years ago!

DIY Glitter Candles and Mason Jars
Take your jar or candle holder and tape an edge where you want your glitter to be. Use a cheap paint brush and paint a good amount of Modge Podge in this area. Then bring on the glitter. Sprinkle glitter over this area. Add lace around the tops of mason jars for a little extra and your choice of flowers.
