I love the farmhouse look and going junkin to get it, but in the winter months when barn shows and junkin seem months away and you need a farmhouse fix (like my mantel did) you can find perfect items for less at IKEA. Who else was sooo excited to see IKEA built in St. Louis! If you haven’t been let me warn you…
  1. Going on a weekend= moving through the store like cattle being herded… it’s that busy! Did I mention you do this through 2 floors?
  2. Going on a weekday night= being able to peruse the aisles & spin those carts (they are really fun. Those Wheels! ) Bahaha
  3. WARNING: Going on a weekday night may cause you to spend more.
  4.  Go with a budget! While there are great deals... there are A LOT of them... so they can start to add up. By the time you are 5ft in the door you realized you should have grabbed the big cart instead of the bag cart.
  5. Have fun & look at Pinterest for IKEA hacks (they will blow your mind.)
  6. Don’t forget to grab a Cinnamon Roll!
These awesome finds will be making their way up on the blog in my Spring Mantelscape.  Stay Tuned and Stay Sweet!

Love how you put these together, it totally is farmhouse and probably a fraction of the cost that an antique stores would have anything similar. Did you get that green milk jug there too? I love it!

Hi Stacey! Thanks for reading and for the compliments!!! Yes the green milk jugs came in a set of two for like $15. This whole look was less than $75.00!
